WARNING: Exposed dog!
This is how a normal dog should be found sleeping...
...however, 90% of the time this is how we find Dash sleeping.

This past weekend Cody had his first official kid birthday party at a place called jerZjump. It basically has all sorts of large scale blow up things to jump, slide and climb on. There were 12 kids plus Cody and from what I could tell they had a great time.
Here is the best video I got of some of the kids having fun.
The day after the party we decided to take Dash on his first family hike. We went to a place called Sourland Park in Hillsborough. We had been there before and liked it, plus we knew it was dog friendly. Unfortunately we didn't account for muddy path from all the snow melting and had to cut the hike a bit short. But even so, I think it was a success and it was nice to be outside for some fresh air.

5 already!
Today Cody turns 5! I can't believe how fast time has gone.

Meet Dash. He's 3/4 yellow lab and 1/4 golden retriever. We got him about a week ago and love this new addition to our family.

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here is the traditional picture with Santa. Jade is a very smiley kid, but we have a hard time getting her to smile for the camera.
Can I just say, though, this was one of the best Santa's we have seen. His beard was real and so was his tummy.

2 already!
So even though I am a little late I just wanted to post about Jade's 2nd birthday. I can't believe she turned 2 already. Time flies when you're having fun. We celebrated with family several times and she is loving all her new stuff. We are so glad Jade is in our lives and feel very blessed because of it.
