Cody has been responding beautifully to his growth hormone resulting in him growing leaps and bounds over the last six months. For some reason we failed to buy him bigger shoes along with the larger sized clothing he needed. Anyway, on our way to a church meeting last night we stopped by the mall and got him some new shoes. When we measured his foot, to our shock he had not gone from a 7 to a 7 1/2 or even an 8. He went from size 7 to size 9. Poor kid. But in some cultures tiny feet are attractive right?Thursday, April 23, 2009

Water Fun
Scott had some "comp" days he took on Thursday and Friday and we were able to go out of town to Six Flags' The Escape Lodge and Indoor Waterpark. We found it online while looking for something fun and active to do during colder days. So off we went to upstate New York. Cody was just the perfect size for everything. There were only two slides he couldn't go on, but too many other things to do for it to make a difference. Since Jade was obviously too small for everything she stayed with Grandma and Poppy for a funfilled couple days of her own. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a little "get-a-way" during the cold season.
He was excited to meet Daffy Duck, but sad he didn't get to see Bugs Bunny.

This is the "tree house". You can just tell it's Scott and Cody on the stairs.

Gotta love a surfing bear.

Believe it or not Cody's favorite thing was the lazy river.

Cody loved the slides.

They also had this area for boogie boarding and surfing. Of course Scott got in on the action.
This is where I spent most of my free time. It was a 18 and older spa area. I guess without my kids in tow I look younger than I am because I was questioned by the life guard as to my age to make sure I was old enough to be there.
All this fun can really wipe out a kid.

My daughter's an ALIEN!
Jade had a sleep test done last night. That means she and I spent the night in New Brunswick so she could be hooked up to all kinds of wires. For the most part she was a real trooper, except she kept pulling off the moniter under her nose that kept track of her breathing. I suppose if I was hooked up to all those wires, I would try and get them off too. Anyway, I took a pic to document it, but even with all those things on her she still managed to stay looking cute!
