Pay Back!

So for Cody's last birthday my sister volunteered to make his birthday cake. It was a soccer ball and I think she did a fantastic job. Plus I was extremely excited not to have to make it myself. Now today we are celebrating her daughter's birthday. Somehow I found myself volunteering to make her birthday cake. You know what they say about pay backs. Anyway, she is having a barbie party and so a barbie cake it was. The first attempt at just physically baking the cake was a miserable failure, but I got it right the second time.

Lucy's Cake

So who do you think had the harder cake to make?

YOU! Hands down! Lucy is jumping and up down saying, "I love it! I love it! I love it! And it's so beautiful." See, aren't you glad you said yes. Thanks again :)

Wow you are definitely flying out if I ever have a child and that child needs a birthday cake.

WOW! I'm lost for words. It's to beautiful to eat. Great job, Becca! You can make your mother's birthday cake in March. Let's see - what do I want?

Oh my goodness...I love that barbie cake. How on earth did you do that?? I would love to have the talent to do either cake. Since Scott coaches soccer, and my boys are in love with sports, I should learn how to do the soccer one :)

That is pretty impressive. I'm in trouble now because Sydnie saw the cake and her birthday is Tuesday.

Wow! Great job! Cakes are more time consuming that one thinks!
